“However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has
heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1
Corinthians 2:9)
Devotion: We cannot imagine all that God has planned for us,
both in this life and in the life to come. God has promised a new heaven and a
new earth. For those who love God and seek to live out God’s will, there are
such good things in store that are beyond our wildest dreams. This is God’s
promise and the ground of our hope. Even in the midst of trials and temptations
we can look ahead and know that the best is yet to come.
Prayer: Loving God, I am excited about what you have
promised me if I but remain faithful. Help me to be strong in the face of
adversity and to trust in your wonderful promises for the future. Amen.
